Color matching (place parachute on ground, kids must place body parts on different colors)

Craft: We used torn paper to decorate a paper plate goldfish.

Literacy tip of the week: Talk with your child about the world around them. It is a great way to introduce new vocabulary!

Literacy tip of the week: Most babies understand object permanence around 6 months. It is at this point they realize you don't disappear when they can't see you. This makes peekaboo all the more fun!

Literacy tip of the week: Rhyme is an important element in children's books and songs. Hearing and repeating two words that sound alike in a story helps teach that words are made up of smaller parts. It will even help your child learn to sound out words as they get older.
