Baby Storytime 11/29/18

Book read: 
The Busy Little Squirrel by Nancy Tafuri

Frisky Squirrel (done as bounce to the tune of "The Grand Old Duke of York", from HCPL Storytime)
Oh, the frisky squirrel,
He gathers nuts and seeds, (bounce)
He hides them for the winter months,
So he'll have all he needs!
Oh, up, up, up he goes! (reach up)
And down, down, down he comes. (reach down)
He runs around, goes up and down, (go up and down)
His work is never done!

Literacy tip of the week: Reading teaches your baby about the world by introducing new ideas, vocabulary and concepts.

Throw all your wiggles in the wiggle box,

And lock that box up tight!
Repeat with other actions like jumping, clapping, etc.

Sits so still.
Will he come out?
Yes he will!
