Literacy tip of the week: Encourage your baby to point to objects in a book as you read. This helps keep them engaged with the story. It also helps build their fine motor skills.

Children lay on floor as if sleeping. After saying "Sleeping, sleeping, all the cows are sleeping." Have them wake up and pretend to transform into something else. Some ideas include monkeys, airplanes, horses, etc.

Literacy tip of the week: Making animal sounds is a great way for your child to learn to identify the parts of language. For instance the hiss of a snake is the "s" sound.

We used our new parachute to play "Mama Says" and other games.
