Craft: We used craft feathers to decorate a template of a chicken.

Literacy tip of the week: When kids dance to songs that start and stop throughout they are practicing their self regulation skills. These skills are important to being able to focus and learn.

Literacy tip of the week:  Try writing out your child's words for them to see in print. This will help reinforce the connection between written and spoken language.

Dragon Pokey (version of Hokey Pokey)

That's what it's all about.

Craft: We made dragon puppets out of a printable pattern and paper lunch bags.

Literacy tip of the week: Coloring and crafts help build the fine motor skills your child will need when they learn to write.
